Represent and maintain positive working relationships across school, university, and professional organizations related to the geosciences and career services community.Career Coaching: Assist the director with providing Jackson School of Geosciences students comprehensive individual and group career coaching services, including: defining career goals; developing career plans; navigating and understanding the various geosciences industries; internship assistance; resume and cover letter critiques; and connecting students with resources. Provide behavioral mock interview services. Share information and collaborate with key Jackson School faculty and staff to bridge student and employer needs.Program Management: Assist the director with planning, coordinating, and presenting programming focused on careers in the geosciences and Earth sciences industries. Network and collaborate with employers, student groups, and other campus constituencies to promote career connections.Administrative: Represent the Jackson School of Geosciences in on-campus and off-campus meetings. Help student services staff with office events, including career fairs.Employer Relations: Maintain knowledge of recruiting practices across campus and interact with employers as part of broader campus recruiting effort.
