Provide individual and group career counseling to undecided and transitional undergraduate students on matters related to the development of their educational plans and career decision making. Lead discussions and activities designed for students with complex career exploration situations. Identify financial and social barriers to early career development and support students individually and in groups to overcome barriers and challenges. Assess, select and interpret career assessments in individual and group settings.Deliver workshops and presentations to student groups across campus, including career and well-being, career exploration, and Life Design workshops. Represent Texas Career Engagement at events, including orientation sessions.Create, manage and grow career communities related to helping professions for all UT Austin students, regardless of major. Plan, coordinate, and present industry-focused career programming and workshops that offer tailored resources and opportunities for careers, professional development, and employer connections. Plan and facilitate events to helps students find a sense of belonging among peers interested in industries outside of their current major. Collaborate with the employer engagement team to foster student-employer connections.Represent Career Education at events and meetings. Maintain career counseling competence and knowledge of career theory through career counseling-related literature consultation, conference attendance and research activities.
