Career Coaching Provide Liberal Arts students comprehensive individual and group career coaching services, including: defining career goals; developing career plans; navigating and understanding a variety of industries; internship assistance; resume and cover letter critiques; and connecting students with resources. Provide both case and behavioral mock interview services. Share information and collaborate with recruiting team to bridge student and employer needs.Course Management Serve as course coordinator to manage enrollment process for internship courses by verifying internships. Meet university recruiting guidelines and granting registration authorizations. Instruct internship courses by evaluating assignments submitted by students and maintaining contact with site supervisors to ensure adequate completion of internship. Maintain and update Canvas course pages. Provide support and flexibility to internship course students through Canvas and appointments. Manage major specific Canvas resource pages.Program Management Plan, coordinate, and present specialized programming focused on careers for liberal arts majors. Develop, implement, and coordinate a variety of workshops, events, and career preparation opportunities. Network and collaborate with employers, student groups, and other campus constituencies to promote career connections. Serve as a point person for outreach events to promote Liberal Arts Career Services programming.Administrative and Team Support Represent Liberal Arts Career Services in on-campus and off-campus meetings. Research and create career-related content for student, alumni, and employer collateral.Assist career services staff with office events, including career fairs, contributing to the success of the team as a collaborative partner. Attend weekly staff and professional development meetings. Enter and maintain electronic coaching notes in office database in a timely fashion.Other related duties as assigned
