The Associate, Operations PMO will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of programs including solar, wind, and battery storage. The Associate, Operations PMO will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of programs including solar, wind, and battery storage.
Responsibilities:
Establish program-specific strategic goals through communication with management to ensure program goals align with corporate expectations
Develop program task scheduling tools to ensure tasks are planned, communicated, and executed effectively and efficiently
Manage contractor/vendor contractual obligations to ensure program tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Manage and communicate with stakeholders, including vendors, Asset Management, and site operations, to align program tasks, address challenges, and align goals and objectives
Monitor program performance to ensure the achievement of strategic goals and objectives
Review and implement lessons learned to improve programs and processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification is a plus
2 or more years of experience in program or project management preferred but not required
Experience in the power generation industry is a plus
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage customer/vendor relationships
Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal
Strong leadership and communication and ability to meet deadlines
Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
Ability to multi-task while working independently and as part of a team
Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
Is detail-oriented and has a sound understanding of business concepts
Ability to push/pull/lift tools and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work safely in extreme environments (hot sun, cold, etc.)
Ability to walk, climb, and stand extensively during the workday
Knowledge of environmental and safety policies and procedures
Ability to work within tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability and willingness to travel to and from job sites as assigned
Work Environment:
This position is office-based, with some travel and visits to other RWECE offices and field locations. The employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time.
