UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Associate Director of Organizational Development and Risk Reduction in Austin, Texas

Oversee the execution and strategic direction of risk management and safety programming for all student organizations, including but not limited to the Safety Education Program and hazing prevention efforts for the institution. Collaborate with the Associate Directors of Student Activities and Sorority and Fraternity Life to develop and implement programming across the Student Involvement Portfolio.Oversee the Successful Student Organization Program including assessment, strategic direction, process improvement, and supervision of all staff involved in the daily operations of the SSOP. Work directly with organizations engaged in the program, and specifically support organizations enrolled through the provisional return process, including all relationships with campus partners and stakeholders.Recruit, select, train, and supervise the ODRR team, including up to 2 full-time professional staff, graduate assistants, and student staff. Provide training and development for staff throughout the student involvement portfolio related to risk reduction and hazing prevention initiatives.Collaborate with staff from the Office of the Dean of Students (DOS) and campus partners to develop resources, content, or workshops in alignment with the objectives of the unit. Communicate and provide updates to DOS staff and campus partners on an on-going basis.Represent the Office of the Dean of Students on Division of Student Affairs and University committees, task forces, campus orientations, resource fairs, and requested speaking engagements. May be assigned additional tasks such as assisting with or creating workshops, training or curriculum develop for student organization growth and development.
