Lead and manage daily operations for the Borrowing, Lending, and Document Delivery departments withinInterlibrary Services:Take charge in hiring for staffing needs.Set priorities for direct reports and the department.Manage a team of seven professionals, overseeing performance and providing feedback and growth opportunities for staff.Collaborate on solving problems with the Head of Resource Delivery.Maintain excellent customer service, keeping accessibility of physical and electronic content in mind.Resolve problems in shipping using EShip software.Keep current with developments in librarianship, particularly as related to resource delivery, collection development, Open Access trends, and scholarly communication.Prepare regularly scheduled and on-demand statistical reports of ILS data for subject liaisons and Collections team as required. Prepare annual copyright submissions for Copyright Clearance Center (CCC).Assist UT Austin users with their research needs. Perform extensive searching for difficult to obtain requests.Participate in UT Libraries committees, trainings, meetings and webinars.Other related functions as assigned.
