Hire, train, supervise and evaluate a team of financial professionals. Develop efficient work processes, priorities, and performance goals; assign resources and tasks and measure productivity. Motivate direct reports by by communicating job expectations, monitoring and appraising job results, providing positive feedback and skills development.Review, analyze and refine the team's work products including rate proposals, five-year simulations, projections and proformas. Present and explain the results to client departments financial staff and leadership. Make recommendations and work with client departments to implement them.Use available electronic applications, databases, queries, financial and personnel reports to gather and organize data in order to evaluate and analyze results. Present conclusions, concerns and recommended solutions of analysis.Act as a liaison with senior level management and other department managers by developing productive, collaborative relationships and utilizing clear and effective communication. Support efforts to ensure sound financial planning, budgeting, and account management processes are in place and in compliance with UT processes and procedures.Create and update written standard operating procedures and/or presentations for primary and backup tasks. Examine, recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency. Participates in training to acquire new knowledge and skills. Integrates and applies knowledge and skills in new or unfamiliar situations.Other duties as assigned
