UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Assistant Academic Advisor, College of Natural Sciences in Austin, Texas
To provide academic advising for students individually and in groups. Work with SoHE students to help with their academic success by referring them to appropriate resources, assist with degree planning, and help them navigate their time at the University of Texas at Austin. Facilitate two CNS Freshman Interest Groups (FIG). This includes mentoring small community cohort mentors and assisting to develop weekly lesson plans for FIG meetings. Support course enrollment for SoHE classes as needed.Other duties as assigned, including supporting special projects and staffing events within CNS.
