We are looking to add anAP/AR Managerto our Finance team. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by effectively managing AP/AR and supporting overall financial operations. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions, managing the AP/AR team, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and customers. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to improve and streamline financial processes.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- - Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable team members and functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. - Continuously review and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. - Oversee the processing of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and managing vendor relationships. - Oversee the billing and collection processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collection of payments. - Ensure regular reconciliation of AP and AR accounts, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AP/AR operations. - Prepare and analyze AP/AR reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. - Develop and maintain robust internal controls to prevent errors and fraud in AP/AR processes. - Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards (GAAP), and relevant laws and regulations. - Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits. - Work closely with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall financial operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. - 7+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP system and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls. - Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. - Ability to develop effective consultative working relationships with senior leaders within the organization. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - High level of int grity, ethics, and professionalism.

- - Experience working in a start-up, high-growth, and venture-backed company. - Experience with government contracts
