Main accountabilities include:

Input inventories, receipts and transfers daily.
Responsible for ensuring that data is entered correctly, appropriately documented and reconciled to source documents.

Performs analysis of (loss/gain) in the AUS fuel system daily.
Responsible for reconciling daily book inventories by individual supplier.
Validates airline, fueling agent and supplier information on the into-plane tickets for accuracy against forecasted information provided by suppliers.
Needs to demonstrate speed and efficiency in operating office equipment.
Handle requests by AUSfuel’s customers to research past transactions, provide additional copies, explain various accounting treatments, etc.
Responsible for performing daily system back-ups to provide protection against potential hardware problems.
To validate monthly closing reports to ensure that monthly summaries add up to daily totals.
Run end-of-month program to clear files for the following month.
Produces and distributes the following daily:
Gross Daily Supplier Inventory report
Airlines Issues – Airlines as requested
Fueling Agent Issues – Fueling Agents
Truck rack report – Fueling Agents
Timing: These reports are to be produced daily from 8 AM – 3PM and distributed from 3 PM to 4:30 PM.
Distribution of fueling into-plane tickets are as follows:
Domestic
Green copies of tickets to be mailed to suppliers
Blue copies are retained for seven years
The following activities are to be performed routinely during AUSfuel’s monthly closing process:
Perform Monthly Account Reconciliations on all Balance Sheet Accounts
Monthly closing activities processing ASIG’s Accounting payable.
Run all monthly closing reports.
Prepare monthly member billing reports on the first of each month.
Work on special projects as requested.
Allother reasonable tasks as requested by department managers and/or the General Manager

Qualifications and Experience
High school graduate with basic computer and calculator knowledge.
Prior experience in Accounting/Inventory reconciliation considered a plus.
Four (4) weeks required to learn details of the job. Three (3) months required to perform the job with minimum supervision. Experience in the job requires learning responsibilities of all phases of the AUS fuel “Fuel Management System” (FMS), inventory system and reporting of such.
Planning and organization major skills required in the preparation of inputting the fuel inventories and reconciling on a daily basis all fuel dispensed at the airport.
There is considerable variety in the job. It is necessary that clerical and computer entries be accurate to avoid costly mistakes in the resulting reports. These fuel accounting and inventory reports are the basis of the fuel movements necessary to meet the operational requirements of the airlines.
Must understand the operation of computer systems and computer printers. Inputs into the computer must be accurate.
Must work well with all other employees within the company as well as oil company, airline, and into-plane fueling agent personnel. Contact with these individuals is extremely important to this operation.
Average involvement in this position is mainly demonstrated in day-to-day dealings with the above-mentioned personnel.
Supervision is almost always available. Consults with the General Manager and Operations Manager on any unusual situations. No supervision of others is required.
This job represents contact mainly with oil companies, airlines, and into-plane fueling agents. The primary responsibility of this worker is to support the accounting personnel and the Manager Fuel Accounting.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Possess and maintain a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testin
Able to lift push or move up to 70 pounds.
Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
Ability to read and interpret management level documents
