SQUIRE Technologies Inc Account Manager (Salesman) in Austin, Texas

SUMMARY

As an Account Manager, you will drive revenue growth within SQUIRE's existing customer base by identifying and nurturing upsell opportunities through an outbound sales motion. This position is responsible for recognizing customers who could benefit from SQUIRE's comprehensive product portfolio and working with them to identify and activate additional solutions that would drive value to this business.

VP, Customer Onboarding and Growth

JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new business opportunities on existing customer accounts through various channels, including phone, email, and social media
  • Partner closely with the Onboarding and Success team to develop profiles of current customers and their specific business model, challenges and opportunities, ensuring a thorough and complete understanding of customers' current usage of SQUIRE tools
  • Present complementary products to create deeper adoption, articulating the value proposition of the SQUIRE platform and educating them on how we can help solve their business challenges and create growth
  • Increase overall MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) and retention rates of SQUIRE's active customers through the upsell motion
  • Collaborate with the Product team to inform roadmap decisions based on customer behaviors, challenges and feature requests
  • Create referrals through relationship building with current customers

  • 3+ years experience in a Sales quota-carrying role
  • Demonstrated experience with full cycle sales or upsell motion to generate a full pipeline of qualified leads
  • Demonstrated success in converting prospects into satisfied customers
  • Ability to take a genuine, empathetic approach to understanding customer needs and identifying pain points
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and a focus on effective processes
  • Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (Google Suite, Slack, Zoom) as well as CRM tools (Salesforce, Salesloft)
