ASSOCIATE PARALEGAL / PARALEGAL – CONTRACTS - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN, MN)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The person in this position:

  • Is accountable for the timely and accurate completion of complex and technical paralegal tasks.

  • Reviews , drafts, proofreads, and formats correspondence and legal documents including simple/non-routine complex contracts, in accordance with experience.

  • Assists with contract types which may include sales, purchasing, software licensing, marketing, advertising, nondisclosures, or real estate.

  • Uploads documents, organizes, and maintains digital casefiles and matters.

  • Liaisons with various third parties including corporate agents and vendors/administrators.

  • Conducts research on legal procedures and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • An Associate’s degree, Bachelor's degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies, or 5 years’ equivalent in legal work experience.

  • Ability to keep all work performed and information learned strictly confidential.

  • Demonstrated strong time management, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated initiative, interpersonal, detail oriented, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment in prioritizing the work.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.

Preferred

  • Paralegal experience reviewing and editing contracts.

  • Legal experience with real estate documents, sales or purchasing agreements.

  • 10 plus years’ equivalent in legal work experience.

  • Experience with Ironclad contract lifecycle management system.
