What You Will Be Doing:

As the Work Tool Sales & Inventory Coordinator you will be responsible for the management and logistics of our state wide inventory of work tools and attachments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage attachment and work tool order and inventory pipeline; maintain appropriate stock levels in accordance to the work tool stocking plan

  • Properly account for inventory movements

  • Work with Inventory Managers to determine & maintain proper levels of work tool inventory at branches.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through assistance with monthly inventory counts

  • Effectively organize storage of work tools to achieve efficiency gains

  • Monitors sales/run rates to make recommendations and adjustments to which attachments are stocked and adjustments to stocking plan for each attachment (quarterly)

  • Help maintain professional work tool displays.

  • Ordering, shipping and receiving of work tools and attachments

  • Tracks shipping dates on all work tool orders placed with the manufacturer. Follow-ups on orders with the manufacturer and advise sales coordinator of order status.

  • Ensure work tools are available and assigned to Sales Orders and if not, order the appropriate tool in support of deal

  • Consistent identification and proper labeling of assets

  • Develop plan to move work tools greater than 24 months old

  • Build and distribute a “Work tool Hotlist” in order to move aged work tool inventory

  • Research and respond to telephone inquiries from internal and external customers regarding work tools (identification, delivery dates, billing dates, vendor invoice coding, etc.).

    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner

  • Additional duties as assigned by manager

  • Making sure the customer is always taken care of to provide an excellent customer experience

  • Clear and proactive communication skills required with sales team (phone & electronic) to assist them in providing the customer the best retail sales experience possible.

You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or related equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.

    Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Computer skills to include Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language. Knowledge of Spanish language preferable but not required.

  • Creative thinking and problem solving ability.

  • Must be highly organized in a fast-paced work environment.
