MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fit and adapt lenses and frames to include but not limited to the following: * Utilize optical prescriptions in conjunction with the patient's visual requirements. * I recommend specific lenses and lens coatings to suit patient needs. * Assist patients in selecting and coordinating frames to meet prescription and patient needs. * Perform appropriate optical-related measurements. * Provide appropriate guidance to patients regarding Managed Vision Care. * Assist with ensuring each store is effectively merchandised. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: * Ability to sell through sales skills and accountability for sales results. * Experience and proven results with a retail or customer service establishment. * Ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to business growth opportunities. * Ability to provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet/exceed patient expectations.. * Attention to detail and follow-up * Experience with personal computers preferred. EDUCATION: A high school diploma or equivalent or comparable experience is typically achieved with a minimum of 1-2 years in a retail environment.
