CyrusOne Operations System Service Lead in Aurora, Illinois
As part of the global controls and construction teams, you will work with highly motivated engineers, experts, and innovators in the data center industry. You will be responsible for innovating, deploying, and optimizing the automation and monitoring systems within CyrusOne data centers. Systems include building automation systems (BAS), data center inventory management (DCIM), and electrical power monitoring system (EPMS). You will develop new processes and standards while innovating in the controls space.

Essential Functions:
Oversee and prioritize the daily activities of all OPS System regional techs.
Manage the scope and schedule of BMS, DCIM, and EPMS vendors of CyrusOne data centers in a critical production environment.
Develop the scope of work for site improvement projects.
Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate complex situations.
Manage service ticket processing with regional techs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate necessary RFCs for on-site service work and PM activities.
Schedule and coordinate all Ops Systems preventive maintenance.
Coordinate funding for service-related projects.
Responsible for maintaining the highest possible level of service response for our Ops Systems.
Provide training opportunities for our regional techs and facility operators.
Work under tight project timelines.
Interpret controls drawings and wiring diagrams.
Interpret controls bill of materials (BOM).
Support controls-related commissioning activities in the field.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma required.
Experience with industrial controls in critical environment (data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water etc.).
Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers.
Excellent communication skills, teamwork, organizational and problem-solving skills.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Controls or Electrical systems management, coordination with multiple teams and vendors.
Experience/Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or other related engineering degrees preferred.
Work environment:
Fast paced environment.
10% Travel required.
