Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Engineer, where you will be responsible for completing daily building repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and recurring inspections as assigned. You will work with your supervisor to order supplies, maintain equipment and tools, and manage inventories and logs. Your role involves prioritizing and completing work orders, communicating any delays to tenants and supervisors, and ensuring tenant satisfaction. You will maintain building lighting systems, energy management systems, heating and cooling equipment, fire alarm systems, and plumbing equipment, reporting any problems or malfunctions. Additionally, you will perform preventive tasks, maintain the grounds of each property, respond quickly to emergency situations, oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors, and adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm
Work Environment
Responsible for overseeing 3 medical offices in Aurora and Naperville. You will rotate between all three offices daily, based on the repairs needed at each site. Mileage between buildings will be reimbursed.
