ManTech Software Engineer in Aurora, Colorado

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in the Aurora, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a system

  • Participates in software requirement review, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness review, and software acceptance review

  • May research the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues

  • Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines

  • May provide technical guidance to lower level software engineers

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma

  • Shall have a minimum of seven (7) years experience in software engineering/development and/or systems engineering/analysis.

  • Must have experience with UI Frameworks (Kendo, Sencha, JQuery, NodeJs, etc), Java Script, HTML5/CSS, Java, Unix/Linux, Apache NiFi, C++, scripting 9Python, Pearl) and Web Services.

  • Must possess experience in all phases of software engineering to include requirements analysis, development, testing and integration, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution and/or experience in phases of applications systems analysis to include evaluation and design, integration and optimization of complex systems.

  • Must have experience with communication applications, database management, use of programming languages and knowledge of storage and retrieval methods.

  • Must have performed new development and Dev Ops

  • Must be a self-starter

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline may be substituted for three (3) years of work experience.

  • A Master’s degree in any of the above disciplines may be substituted for an additional two (2) years of experience.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active/Current Top Secret SCI with Poly

Physical & Other Skills Requirements:

  • Hearing, medium work – normal requirements up to 20 lbs, no adverse environmental conditions, sedentary work, speaking, standing, talking, working with computers/CRTs, working with data, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, analytical or critical thinking skills, listening skills, multi-tasking ability, oral & written communication skills, organizational skills, switchboard or computer operating skills
