Tempur Sealy Shipping Loader in Aurora, Colorado

The Loader moves wheeled carts of finished units to the trailer loading area.The Loader then wheels the cart into the trailer and moves the finished unitsoff the cart into the trailer in an upright position or may pull the finishedunits off the cart outside the trailer and transfers them into the trailer inan upright position. The tags must be verified to match the truck number andthen the tag is scanned. The load must be organized within the traileraccording to the order of the stops the truck will be making. As the trailerbecomes full, the Loader may have to lift the finished units and lay themhorizontally across the upright finished units to maximize the load size. Mayalso be asked to perform other duties, as required by supervisor.Requirements: Ability to work on a fast-paced loading dock Standing /walking for the entire shift Strong upper body strengths to lift and move over 50 lbs. Good spatial recognition to load most efficiently thereby maximizing thecube. Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled area, both hot andcold, as trailers are at outside temperature when pulled in for loading. Must be able to work flexible hours Continuous pushing and pulling a wheeled cart containing the finished units. Frequent pushing and pulling the finished units off the wheeled cart intothe trailer. Frequent overhead lifting, pushing and pulling when loading finishedunits horizontally on top of upright units in the trailer.
