Job Overview

This position is responsible for full performance complex work designing, building, implementing and maintaining network and unified communication systems. Duties include analyzing network and unified communication requirements, system traffic and potential risks to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to ensure organizational standards and needs are met. This position may perform lead work over lower level staff.

*This role will support our Cisco network environment, and the ideal applicant will be proficient in the Cisco environment from end to end.

Additional Information

Department: Information Technology/Data Network Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. Work hours may vary based on the needs of the department. This role will also require on-call commitments, approximately one week every 6th week. *This is a hybrid role.

Qualifications

EDUCATION -Associatedegree in related field EXPERIENCE - Minimum of three (3) years of related experience. EQUIVALENCY - Work related experience may be considered in lieu of degree on a year for year basis. CERTIFICATION(S) - Proof of previous Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred Ideal applicant has Cisco Network expertise in the following areas: Firewall/Security Identity Services Engine (ISE) Firepower Management Center (FMC) Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Posturing Cisco Wireless

Responsibilities

POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE No direct patient care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform. Designs, builds, and implements Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), wireless, voice, video and clinical emergency alerting systems. Operationally manages infrastructure projects Performs complex in tallations, upgrades, maintenance and technical duties supporting the operations internal network and unified communication systems. Collaborates with various internal groups and external vendors to ensure all installations meet specifications. Ensures the resolution of problems. Analyzes the overall network and unified communication needs of the organization and translates requirements into detailed technical specifications.
