Job Overview

The Senior Building Automation System Administrator is primarily responsible for operation of the building automation system (BAS). This position is responsible for full performance complex applications systems administration work. Implements, supports and maintains application environments and their performance, availability, capacity, and security for the organization, the business units, and end users. This position may perform lead work over lower level staff. Potential Specialty Areas: Business Objects, Business Systems, Clinical, Documentum, Informatica, PeopleSoft, Radiology, SharePoint, Utilities

Additional Information

Department: Utilities Management Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. Work hours may vary depending on the need of the department. This role will also require variable weekend, holiday and on-call commitments.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree is required. EXPERIENCE - Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required. EQUIVALENCY - Combination of post-high school education, job related certification, and/or related experience equivalent to nine (9) years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience: Building Automation background Certifications: Testing, adjusting and balancing of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems.

Schedules and performs complex software installations or implementations, enhancements, patches and upgrades. Administers and maintains the application security, user setup, role privilege definitions, s curity groups, and security definitions. Effectively collaborate with business units to develop and implement programmatic solutions for business needs. Works with application developers, vendors and customers to understand business requirements and application and system related impacts and ensures requirements are addressed. Partners with developers and business analysts to ensure successful project implementation of software installation and upgrades.
