Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Test Engineer for their Aurora, CO location. The individuals applying for this position should have experience in the areas of system integration and test, software troubleshooting, creating and running test procedures, and development support.
The primary responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
Perform system integration activities of NG developed and COTS/GOTS software applications on a multi-data feed system in a collaborative lab environment
Create/update agile stories to document work planned and accomplished
Performs technical analysis of integrated system, prepares comprehensive system level evaluations to include new capability and continuous regression checkout
Generate/respond to comprehensive discrepancy reports; continuous follow-up coordination with developers to solve complex problems associated with real-time processing software
Create and perform comprehensive test procedures that meet customer needs

This requisition may be filled as either a Principal or Sr. Principal Systems Test Engineer.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Test Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Masters; 0 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application
Security+ certification
Familiarity with LINUX RHEL8
Familiarity with Docker commands
Experience in integrating software (in-house and COTS) on a multi-level LINUX/Windows based system architecture
Must be available for up to 25% travel to fielded systems in CONUS and OCONUS locations to perform baseline installations/integrations and customer exercise support efforts
Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Systems Test Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application
Security+ certification
Familiarity with LINUX RHEL8
Familiarity with Docker commands
Experience in integrating software (in-house and COTS) on a multi-level LINUX/Windows based system architecture
Must be available for up to 25% travel to fielded systems in CONUS and OCONUS locations to perform baseline installations/integrations and customer exercise support efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with VMWare
Experience in installing software utilizing GIT repository
Salary Range: $100,300 - $150,500
Salary Range 2: $124,900 - $187,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
