Job Summary:

  • Clinical service in the field of Pediatric Otolaryngology, with the primary location for this position being Children's Hospital Colorado located at Anschutz Medical Campus as well as surrounding network of care sites.

  • Teaching and mentoring of fellows, residents, medical students, and other related trainees.

  • Faculty expectation for regular academic/scholarship/research activities toward academic promotion

Minimum Qualifications:

Assistant Professor:

  • Doctor of Medicine degree

  • Board Certified or Board Qualified in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • If Board Qualified, must receive Board Certification within 2 years of hire.

  • Board Eligible in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license

Associate Professor:

  • Doctor of Medicine degree

  • Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • Board Eligible in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • 4+ years of experience at rank or equivalent experience

  • Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license

Professor:

  • Doctor of Medicine degree

  • Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • Board Eligible in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

  • 7+ years of experience at rank or equivalent experience

  • Ability to obtain a Colorado medical license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Opportunity to develop a practice emphasizing chronic ear diseases, head and neck tumors, or facial trauma, but any and all specialty interests are welcome

  • Enthusiasm for and ability to develop successful academic and community-based practices
