Salary range for this position is $75-$90k depending on experience

The Role

Due to growth TricorBraun is now seeking candidates for an Operations Manager. As an Operations Manager, you will be leading a team of Account Coordinators in executing the delivery of our packaging solutions to our growing customer base. Our pace is fast, but our dedication to craft and quality is second to none. Every day we roll up our sleeves to tackle today’s challenges and tomorrow’s ideas for the industry, and we are looking for a standout Operations Manager to join our team.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills that can be utilized with customers and internal team member development.

  • Approves transactions and ensures they are processed quickly and accurately.

  • Ensures the standard operating workflow procedures are followed and consistently executed.

  • Determines workload and the level of detail for transactions; supports the accounts; focuses on core account activities (service what is already established).

  • Develops a plan for managing the movement of inventory for location accounts.

  • Monitors inventory levels, aging, turns, and data accuracy; takes action to resolve inventory problems.

  • Completes an accurate physical inventory.

  • Anticipates Account Coordinators’ questions, needs, and expectations; is proactive in responding.

  • Establishes partnerships with Account Coordinators, location employees, corporate, and customer accounts, where applicable. Evaluates performance and coach for improvement.

  • Manages incoming and outgoing communication to corporate and other locations; is the corporate liaison.

  • Involved in selecting Account Coordinators; orients, trains and develops Account Coordinators, including cross-training for backups.

  • Schedules staff to support workflow.

  • Manages conflicts and responds to difficult situations straightforwardly and respectfully.

  • Understands the functionality of the location IT computer and communication systems.

  • Maintains a high level of proficiency with systems and administrative tasks.

  • Accurately utilizes systems to review and approve account data, shipping dates, confirm pricing, follow up, and communicate information.

  • Analyzes all transactions and evaluates if gross profit is in line with margin goals.

  • Evaluates inventory and suggests alternative options for the Packaging Consultant to offer as account opportunities.

  • Achieves an operating income greater than or equal to budget; monitors expenses and reduces costs; maintains the location facility.

  • Ensures a safe work environment for the location employees.

  • Ensures that standard operating procedures are in compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Drive employees to reach the company, location, and employee goals.

  • A strong ability to skillfully use a computerized system to track and monitor customer accounts, organize priorities and manage your calendar of events.

  • Strong working knowledge of all MSFT Suite products that include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
