Job Responsibilities

consultation, neurohospitalist, and telestroke service lines, are one week in duration and rotate weeklyThe total number of clinical assignments per year is determined by the section chief, based upon individual and section clinical FTE distributions; currently, a 1.0 clinical FTE faculty member is assigned approximately twenty to twenty-three weeks of service yearly. Primary and backup night-call responsibilities are restricted to clinical service weeks only. All clinical service assignments, aside from telestroke, include the supervision and education of fellows, residents, medical students, and other learners.

MD or DO
Board-certified, or eligible for board certification, by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming Medical License, and an active and unrestricted DEA Registration
Eligible to obtain other states' unrestricted medical licenses, if necessary (most likely for virtual health services, such as telestroke).

Completed Vascular Neurology fellowship training.

The Department of Neurology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an engaging leader to join our Vascular Neurology / Neurohospitalist Section. The Vascular Neurology / Neurohospitalist Section provides inpatient neurology care and inpatient neurology education at the University of Colorado Hospital, Anschutz Medical Campus. Neurovascular faculty contribute to multiple administrative, quality and leadership roles in the hospital, department, and school.
