Human Resources Coordinator Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level for the region. This position carries out responsibilities in all HR functional areas with an emphasis on onboarding, compliance, and HR administration.

Duties and Responsibilities Complete day-to-day tasks of providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and programs to employees within the region. Coordinate new hire onboarding process for the region and ensure compliance. Process all paperwork including I-9s. Post open positions, screen applications, and coordinate on-site interviews. Provide benefit administration support by communicating benefits offered, handling benefit inquiries, and escalating issues to regional HR Manager. Work with region on DOT requirements and paperwork with guidance from Corporate Safety. Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies, procedures, and processes. Assist with required Affirmative Action Plan implementation and reporting, pursuant to OFCCP requirements. Coordinate disability and FMLA requests and tracking with consultation from Corporate HR. Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the system. Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education & Skills Associate's Degree in Human Resources Management or related. One or more years of human resources experience. Construction industry experience is preferred. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong organizational, attention to detail, and prioritization skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HRIS systems. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Working Conditions Location - This role will be in the Aurora, CO office. Office environment - Extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally.
