  • Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Continuing Medical Education and the Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration on the creation, implementation, and ongoing review of a business development plan for the Office of Continuing Medical Education.

  • Create, review, and maintain CME content including the mission, vision, values, marketing, and promotional material for CME and in alignment with the business development and strategic plan.

  • Recruit future clients and assess current clients, in support of the implementation of the business development plan.

  • Collaborate with CME staff on the ongoing review of CME activities including in-person and hybrid events, regularly scheduled series (RSS), and enduring materials.

  • Develop and optimize process workflows for CME activities and accreditation, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with accreditation standards.

  • Collaborate with the Office of Medical Education Business Services Team and Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration to establish an annual cost model and develop and oversee the budget for CME activities, ensuring alignment with fiscal goals and tracking revenues and expenditures.

  • Collaborate with relevant leadership and teams to evaluate, propose, implement, and manage a Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring optimized performance, adherence to timeline, scope, and budget, while maintaining data integrity, standards, and quality control.

  • Provide ad hoc CME project or task administration support, as requested.

  • Attend professional development training in support of professional growth and career development.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, public health, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • Three (3) years of experience in managing complex business process, projects, and/or events.

  • One (1) year of experience evaluating, implementing, or deploying change in business processes, software, or operations.

  • Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis, but not for the specific experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, public health, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

  • Experience working within a medical or academic setting.

  • Experience with event planning and project oversight.

  • Experience with deploying business development plans, continuous quality improvement, or change management.

  • Experience compiling and analyzing complex datasets and making data-driven recommendations.

  • Experience working with diverse constituents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to learn and interpret policies and procedures.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

  • Exceptional customer service and ability to build relationships with diverse internal and external clients and colleagues.
