Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerks who are self-starting and detail-oriented will be excited about this opportunity! This is a long-term temporary-to-full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Aurora, Colorado area. Accountemps is partnering with a growing Healthcare company who is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk to join the accounting team. A strong candidate for this Accounts Receivable Clerk position will be able to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. We are seeking candidates who are looking for career growth potential, and who are capable of processing 200+ invoices per week.
Key responsibilities
Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
Review status of delinquent accounts daily and initiate collection action by contacting customers
Verify documents and codes
Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization
Help resolve payment issues by contacting clients, assist in setting up payment plans
Balance bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a number of different ledgers
Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks
Process payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

Requirements
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Medical Insurance experience
Foundational knowledge in Medical Insurance Billing
Medical collections experience
Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Deep understanding of medical denials
1+ year of relevant experience in accounts receivable in a medical setting
Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Efficient in computer systems
