Actalent Construction Materials Project Manager in Augusta, Georgia

Job Title: Construction Materials Project ManagerJob Description

As a Construction Materials Project Manager, you will oversee and manage materials testing and special inspection projects, ensuring the highest quality and compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate closely with clients, project teams, and laboratory staff to ensure successful project delivery while upholding core values and commitment to excellence. Responsibilities include leading and managing projects of various scales, supervising and mentoring a team, growing and maintaining a local client base, and generating and reviewing cost estimates and proposals in alignment with project requirements.

Hard Skills

  • ACI, ASTM, ICC, DOT certifications

  • 4 years experience in construction materials testing

  • 1 year of project manager experience

  • Experience in commercial, industrial, bridges, roadway projects

Soft Skills

  • Client collaboration

  • Team supervision and mentoring

  • Business development and marketing

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Augusta, Georgia.

Work Environment

In-office opportunity with Office Hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and one day of work from home per week. The role involves splitting time between the office and on-site construction projects. The Augusta office, a small satellite office, consists of 20 people and is directly supervised by the manager of the Columbia office.
