Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Generator Rentals Division as an Rental Generator Operations Manager.

Summary:

This position is responsible for all operational aspects of a Generator Rental department and projects within an area. Ensure maximum efficiency, profitability, and achievement of set revenue goals. Manage, motivate and provide leadership to Generators staff. Hire, supervisor and manage the performance of Generator Rental Technicians and collaborate with Fleet and Shop Managers to ensure equipment and vehicles are sufficient to perform work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Construction scheduling and tracking.

  • Become well-versed in profit and loss statements and facilitate invoicing and financial reporting for area.

  • Hiring, training, and supervising Generator Rental Techs.

  • Maintain weekly billing numbers.

  • Attend and participate in monthly manager meetings.

  • Prepare appropriate variance reports.

  • Adhere to and reinforce company practices and policies.

  • Set standards for performance as well as apply disciplinary actions within area as appropriate.

  • Responsible for knowledge of office expenses to ensure they are controlled.

  • Ensure payroll deductions, vacation requests, and bonuses are done correctly and submitted timely.

  • Ensure that the Company Standards are followed by all personnel.

  • Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

Competencies/Requirements:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, decision-making skills.

  • P/L management experience preferable but not required.

  • Strong desire to develop leadership abilities.

  • Industry experience preferable but not required.

  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

  • 3 years or more years of operations management experience is required.

  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • An energetic, individual with high standards and a strong work ethic, organized and self-directed.

Total Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000
