Aerotek Machine Operator in Auburn, Washington
Job description
Cut metal using a band saw, Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order
specifications. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean
condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all
required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Machine operators learn to run our aluminum saws ranging from 4'-20' long cuts. We cut .019 to 10" material.
Attributes include attention to detail, ability to work on your feet, read a tape measure, good with paperwork and chain of custody.
Machine Operator, Saw Operator, Forklift
Previous experience using a band saw (cutting steel)
Ability and experience operating a sit-down forklift
Must be able to read a tape measure
