US Farathane Quality Auditor Team Lead in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black-box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE's and TPO's as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Auditor Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Quality System including auditing of in-process product per instructions as well as all associated documentation and performing the duties of receiving and dock auditing as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform receiving inspection and dock auditing as needed.
  • Perform in-process inspection of product to determine compliance to customer requirements.
  • Maintain variable charts per blueprint and / or customer requirements.
  • Monitor data received by subcontractors for compliance to specifications as needed.
  • Assist in sort operations as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, etc.).
  • Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

* QUALIFICATIONS: *

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and simple measurement instrument usage.
  • Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies.
  • Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence, and to speak and present information effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to do simple math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and add positive and negative numbers. 
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. 
  • Manage problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
