IT Quality Assurance Tester II IT Quality Assurance Tester II role assesses software quality through manual testing. This role is responsible for finding and reporting bugs, defects, test environment setup, and peer reviewing test cases prepared by other team members. In this role, the incumbent should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. This individual executes test cases and is passionate about quality. Ultimately, the incumbent will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work as expected. Position Responsibilities Design and Methodology Design test cases to exercise new product features. Create test plans. Implement enterprise test strategy. Participate in preparing the test plans. Understand the functionality of features. Test environment setup. Prepare the test scenarios. Prepare test data. Execute the test cases. Perform defect tracking. Technical Consulting Exposure to implementing test strategy/test approach. Be an active team member driving quality and best practice. Collaborate with other business units to understand how to improve workflow. Gather requirements from clients, customers, or end-users to develop the best testing solutions. Analyze the requirements from user stories. Work closely with the development staff in all phases of development. Communicate with developers and end-users. Peer review existing test cases. Risk Management Ensure that stories are testable in sprint planning. Ensure that test data is protected when necessary. Utilize secrets management. Validate that requirements and bug fixes meet acceptance criteria. Planning & Organizing Understand and document testing requirements, provide test estimates, create test cases, execute test cases. Administration/Support Update time tracking. Update test results and exercise test management skills.

Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related degree or High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of progressive relevant experience 2 years of overall technology experience 1 year of hands-on experience in quality assurance work with web-based applications This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Must have indefinite employment authorization.

Auburn Hills Operations Center 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
