Job title : General Warehouse Worker
Job Summary The candidate will work as a General Warehouse Worker responsible for various tasks such as handling materials, assembling products, overseeing shipments and receipts, and maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring safety and efficiency in the warehouse. They will collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and maintain high standards of organization.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have:
Material Handling: Experience receiving, inspecting, and organizing materials.
Manufacturing Support: Ability to set up equipment and perform routine maintenance.
Quality Control: Knowledge of conducting inspections to ensure product quality.
Inventory Management: Skills in tracking inventory levels and managing records.
Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety regulations.
Preferred:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or Manufacturing Technician.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software.
Certification in forklift operation or other relevant equipment.
Skill Education
Material Handling: This involves receiving incoming materials, inspecting them for defects or issues, organizing them properly within the warehouse, preparing outgoing shipments, and ensuring proper storage conditions are maintained.
Manufacturing Support: This includes setting up manufacturing equipment for production runs, monitoring operations to ensure everything runs smoothly, performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
Quality Control: Involves conducting regular inspections of products during different stages of production to ensure they meet specified quality standards; documenting any defects found; working with the quality team to resolve identified issues.
Inventory Management: Entails tracking current inventory levels using manual or digital systems; performing regular stock counts; maintaining accurate inventory records; reporting any discrepancies found between actual stock levels versus recorded amounts; assisting with restocking when necessary.
Safety Compliance: Refers to following all established safety protocols within the workplace including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering strictly to safety guidelines during material handling or machine operation activities etc., participating actively in scheduled safety training sessions/drills aimed at improving overall workplace safety awareness/compliance among employees.
Pay Details: $16.50 to $119.50 per hour
