Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results driven Aftermarket Transit Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing relationships will large Transit Authorities. You will work closely with the Transit customer base to identify, spec and grow the Aftermarket parts business at the respective Transit Transits.
The ideal candidate has strong sales skills and understanding of Transit parts management and a passion for building long lasting Transit customer relationships. This is a remote role requiring up to 50% to 75% travel.
What you can look forward to as an Aftermarket Transit Account Manager
Prospect and Develop Leads: Identify and reach out to prospective Transit customers in the refuse, vocational and line haul markets.
Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long term relationships with key decision makers to understand their Transits’ needs and provide solutions to maximize the ZF footprint at the respective Transit.
Manage Accounts: Act as the main point of contact for Transit customers, providing high levels or ongoing support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales/product life cycle process.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on all industry trends, competitive offerings and customer needs to adapt sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Sales Reporting: Develop and maintain a pipeline of Transit “wins” for ZF to support the annual sales target for the ZF CV Aftermarket group.
Cross Function collaboration: Work closely with our distribution sales team, customer Transit teams and OES Teams.
Your Profile as an Aftermarket Transit Account Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven sales experience, particularly in CV Transit sales (3+ years experience).
Strong understanding of Transit parts requirements and buying habits.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a Transit focused mindset
Ability to analyze Transit customer needs and recommend solutions
Self-motivated and driven to achieve Transit sales targets
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel up to 75%

The expected base compensation for this role is $100,100.00 to $125,100.00 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
