ASRC Federal Holding Company Network Engineer in Atlantic City, New Jersey
ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Computer Scientist support to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role will make an impact by meeting the future needs of our FAA customer that includes securing data across networks in the enterprise.
SUMMARY
- NAS Enterprise Systems Sub-team is looking for a Computer Scientist to maintain complex computer systems and Public Key Infrastructure
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Support Network Configuration, F5 Load Balancers, firewalls, NAT and DMZs
Support application configuration for Public Key Infrastructure
Support Ansible automation and F5 Ansible automation configuration
Support certificate management with certificate authority for encryption and PKI authentication
Support 2 nd level support tasks on site
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Limited travel
Cubical office
Off-site support to the FAA WJHTC in EHT, NJ
Requirements :

Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and seven (7) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field OR Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and five (5) years related work experience in a computer science or math field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understand and configurate network setup based on requirements
Able to support applications in Linux environments
Modify and adjust existing code
Detail oriented in documentation
Motivated in learning
Excellent communication and able to provide status report
Work independently
Preferred:
Understanding of DMZ, LDAP, network load balancer (such as F5)
Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure, certificate authority
Experience with Ansible/ python/ scripting languages
Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Git
Experience with Linux / virtual environment

Security
US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
