Clark Construction Group, LLC Tool Install Director in Atlanta, Georgia

Clark Construction Group is expanding its horizons into the advanced manufacturing sectors. This new business segment will focus on projects in semiconductors, battery manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, renewables, hydrogen and other high-tech manufacturing facilities across North America.

As the Tool Install Executive at Clark Advanced Technologies, you will lead the end-to-end installation and commissioning process for tools and equipment within our advanced manufacturing project portfolio. This critical executive role requires a strategic and visionary leader capable of ensuring flawless integration of vital manufacturing tools and equipment, foundational to the operational excellence of our new build projects. Your role will demand superior organizational skills, adeptness in both independent and collaborative work settings, and a detail-oriented approach. To excel, you must possess strong project management skills, extensive experience with various production and research tools and equipment, and a comprehensive knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Serves as the primary leader for tool install managers at each project site under Clark Advanced Technologies, empowering them to achieve success in their projects through effective guidance and support.

  • Spearheads the coordination of new tool and equipment installations, focusing on advanced manufacturing projects like semiconductor facilities, ensuring seamless operational integration.

  • Develops detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets tailored to the unique needs of advanced manufacturing projects, emphasizing precision and efficiency.

  • Monitors the progress of tool install projects within the advanced technologies sector, adjusting strategies as needed to align with project goals and timelines.

  • Oversees and manages contractors and personnel involved in tool installations, ensuring adherence to Clark Advanced Technologies' high standards of quality and compliance.

  • Champions safety and compliance across all tool installation activities, ensuring alignment with both internal standards and external regulations.

  • Maintains open and regular communication with management and key stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.

  • Establishes and oversees a documentation program to meticulously record all tool install activities, ensuring adherence to project-specific compliance across the organization.

  • Proactively identifies and resolves any issues arising during tool installation phases, leveraging innovative solutions to minimize disruptions.

  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with vendors and tool install subcontractors, ensuring collaborative planning and timely delivery of essential tools and equipment.

  • Continuously research and advocate for the adoption of new tools and technologies that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Clark Advanced Technologies' manufacturing install capabilities.

  • Implements and refines strategies aimed at optimizing tool install processes, driving improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, and project delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering or business. In lieu of a degree, relevant work experience is acceptable

  • 10+ years experience in the Semiconductor, Advanced Manufacturing, complex manufacturing or pharma/medical device markets is strongly preferred

  • Software proficiency and ability to adopt software systems such as Procore, scheduling tools (i.e., Microsoft Project, SureTrak, Primavera 6, etc.), Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Bluebeam, and Salesforce

  • Skilled in business communications such as writing and verbal presentation

  • Proven leadership experience in the construction, engineering, or technology sectors, with a strong preference for expertise in renewable energy, robotics, or related fields.

  • Demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset and experience in building and scaling successful projects or business units.

  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and trends in the industrial technologies sector.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams.

  • Commitment to leading by example, demonstrating integrity, humility, and adaptability.

Construction work requires strenuous physical activity.
