The Talent Operaitons, Measurement and Reporting Manager builds the roadmap and implements the strategy for the Talent technology ecosystem, ensuring the best possible Teammate experience. Establishes and maintains reporting standards, tools, and procedures for talent content. Provides technology solution selection guidance to Truist and vendor-based solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage a team of professional-level contributors. Lead teammates to ensure effective planning, discovery, design, and delivery of all learning system projects and upgrades through the full project lifecycle. Oversee daily operations of the team, including establishing priorities, developing standards, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  2. Consult with key senior stakeholders and provide leadership in the design, implementation and communication of Learning-related implementations in support of business strategies

  3. Lead the administration and governance of Learning Systems (policies, standards and procedures) to achieve operational and financial results.

  4. Identify and resolve complex technical, operational, risk management, business and organizational challenges through technology solutions.

Stay abreast of advances in technology and trends in alignment with learning strategies and manage the implementation of new systems and tools to improve processes, efficiencies, teammate experience, and/or comply with policies and regulations.

  1. Execute on report requests for learning data across the enterprise and develop enhanced data solutions including data visualization and moving beyond descriptive reporting to diagnostic and predictive analytics.

  2. Manage vendor relationships including contract negotiations and administration. Negotiate contract renewals to ensure budget for software is utilized most effectively.

  3. Interface with Enterprise Technology to maintain system performance standards and data integrity, and to ensure requirements are understood and met, and resources are appropriately allocated to projects.

  4. Provide leadership and direction to teammates including performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure teammates adhere to all internal and external policies and procedures, including SOX compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information systems/technology, computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  2. Eight years of demonstrated deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within the Learning and Development or human resources/talent development disciplines

  3. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes or services

  4. Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities

  5. Sophisticated analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to solve complex technical, operational, business and organizational problems

  6. Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective

  7. Knowledge of the external environment and industry competitive landscape and best practices, regulatory requirements and trends, and an understanding of the market and factors that shape the industry

  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to express complex, multidisciplinary technical and business concepts in terms that are understandable to all levels within the business unit, technical unit, and corporate management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Master’s degree in Educational Technology, Information Systems, Curriculum Development with technology implementation project management

  2. Experience working in the financial services industry; professional certification in HR related discipline

  3. Formal project management and/or change management training or certification

  4. People Management experience
