TEKsystems Support Technician Level One in Atlanta, Georgia
Description:
The Software Engineer designs, configures, implements, and supports the majority of cloud environments. As part of the Engineering Enablement, you are responsible to deliver best-in-class tooling and platforms to enable hundreds of teams across the organization to be successful and productive. The Software Engineer will provide technical guidance and act as a point of escalation for cloud solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere where wearing multiple hats is encouraged. You learn new skills and technology quickly. You have strong collaboration/communication skills.
Technology We Use:
• Terraform, Amazon Web Services, Python, Github, New Relic, Pagerduty, ServiceNOW
Engineers will be using ServiceNOW to manage their ticket queue.
They will learn a lot of AWS and Terraform. Other tools we support are PagerDuty, NewRelic, Slack.
The type of work will range with some simple tasks like access tickets that fail automation.
AWS Support Tickets
new account creations
IAM / LTK creation/edits for certain AWS services that need to be in root.
• Assisting customers in their cloud migrations with configuration, deletion, and deployment of various cloud resources.
• Assisting customers with access and other platform issues where automation has failed.
• Ensures all documentation and knowledge bases are updated to help encourage good collaboration within and outside of our group.
• Participate in best practices, code reviews, and process improvements.
• Perform architectural cloud review of incoming requests to assess and make recommendations to our customers.
• Analyzing current processes in the Engineering Business Operations group and identifying ways of improving processes.
• Passionate and flexible engineer that enjoys solving complex problems.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, developing, and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Python and agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus.
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
