[[Visa Technology and Operations LLC[, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Staff Data Engineer (multiple openings) in Atlanta, GA to Responsible for the architecture, design, development and implementation of software applications. Execute data engineering projects working across multiple teams in high visibility roles. Work with large complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements. Integrate datasets with data/metadata tools in the architecture. Complete data analytics projects involving data modeling and architecture. Perform database administration for data virtualization platform. Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices and development methodologies. Collaborate with product management / product owners to define user experience, demos and training. Contribute to project planning discussions, provide status updates for development progress and be a critical resource for issue resolution. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of developers that will manage large scale open source data platforms, develop tools, and fix bugs and issues that arise. Position reports to the Employers Atlanta, Georgia office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

[[WORKSITE: Atlanta, GA [ [[U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $142,002.00 USD to $196,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
