Intuit Staff Business Data Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia
Overview
We’re looking for a Staff Analyst to join the Mailchimp Marketing Analytics team. You will be responsible for owning key analyses, projects, reporting, and processes leading to insights that help attract new customers and drive revenue growth.
As a Staff Analyst on the Marketing Analytics team, you will help lead strategic, data-driven decision making at Mailchimp. In this role, you will conduct a variety of analyses to understand and explain customer behavior, business trends, and predict future outcomes. The focus of this role is to drive improvements in the conversion funnel for our prospect-facing website through a focus on rigorous experimentation, strategic deep dives and robust reporting.
What you'll bring
Functional
Deep understanding of web analytics data and event tracking (Google Analytics experience is strongly preferred)
Broad experience deploying website experiments across optimization levers (copy testing, page re-builds, audiences, promotions, pricing), test designs (A/B, Factorial, Sequential, etc) and inference (Frequentist, Bayesian)
Expertise with funnel and cohort analysis to prioritize initiatives and guide strategy
Experience in partnering with and presenting to executive and cross-functional leadership
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Technical
Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with cloud-based data warehouses (Google Big Query preferred)
Proven experience in stitching together disparate data sources and building data infrastructure, defining KPIs, and tracking business performance
Experience with business case modeling and opportunity sizing
Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (Tableau) and dashboard development for executive teams
Work/Education
Minimum of 5 year’s experience in an analytics-focused role. Prior work experience within a SaaS company is preferred
Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in a technical subject; equivalent experience will be considered
How you will lead
Build experimentation plans to robustly isolate impact of website changes, and guide future strategy for key initiatives
Deep dive into customer data to understand where growth is coming from and how it can be replicated
Profile customer segment to identify how the website experience can be tailored to their needs
Analyze short, medium, and long-term impact of pricing and promotion changes on customer acquisition
Explore alternative methodologies for statistical inference to identify and size the impact of web initiatives
Design insightful and actionable dashboards to guide web decision making
Craft narratives and recommendations from analyses, build presentations, and present findings to business stakeholders
