This includes engineering teams, distributors, and more than 100 qualified construction crews with extensive experience across all ISP types and markets; over 300 experienced bury drop crews; and more than 700 professional technicians.

We are seeking a Senior Director of Construction to join our team. The Senior Director of Construction will lead and oversee all aspects of telecommunications infrastructure construction projects across a multi-state region (GA & FL). The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in telecommunications construction, capable of driving operational excellence while maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members.

*This position is posted in both and can be worked in either the Jacksonville, FL or Atlanta, GA areas but will be supporting both states in the Southeast region*

The Role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of construction leaders and field teams

  • Direct multiple large-scale telecommunications construction projects simultaneously

  • Develop and implement construction strategies aligned with company objectives and market demands

  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

  • Monitor project performance metrics, including safety, quality, budget, and timeline

  • Implement corrective actions when projects deviate from planned parameters

  • Establish performance goals and conduct regular evaluations

  • Recruit and retain top talent within the construction organization

  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders

  • Resolve escalated issues and ensure client satisfaction

  • Optimize construction operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs

  • Implement and maintain quality control systems

  • Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of company assets in coordination with Fleet team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications construction, 5+ years in progressive leadership

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field a plus

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale telecom infrastructure projects

  • Experience with construction management software and project control systems

  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and regulations

  • Exceptional leadership and team building abilities

  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills

  • Excellence in client relationship management

  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

  • Ability to travel extensively within the Southeast region +/- 50%

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
