Job Description
The Sr. Global Sourcing Analyst will support our product development and sourcing business partners by providing high quality analytics to help drive category sourcing strategy. The Sr. Analyst will help support the development of the framework used to analyze, monitor and influence sourcing diversification for Home Depot private brands. The Sr. Analyst will use both internal and external data to provide analysis of overall category performance, as well as insights into manufacturing capabilities across global manufacturing supply bases. Ability to aggregate and interpret data from multiple sources will be critical to success in the role.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
50% Analysis: Data analysis and interpretation during quarterly forecasting process and ad hoc requests
35% Reporting: developing and executing reporting for sourcing diversification
15% Stakeholder Collaboration: Present analyses and resulting recommendations to pertinent business partners.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
High level of competence working with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint)
Database and data visualization experience preferred (SQL, Google BigQuery, Tableau - desktop preferred)
Project management skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
Ability to effectively and accurately interpret data to draw accurate conclusions
Ability to manage ambiguous situations and operate effectively when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
