The evolution of the Newell Supply Chain (NSC) includes a focus on driving productivity through building capability in people, processes, and technology. Planning, Engagement, Achievement, & Knowledge (PEAK), Newell’s branded Continuous Improvement Operating System, is fundamental to that goal. Currently, there are 30+ Manufacturing and Distribution sites globally that have deployed PEAK at Newell with plans to expand in the coming years.

Position Overview

Position Title: Sr. Analyst, Continuous Improvement (PEAK)

Location: Atlanta, GA or Newell Brands Facility

Reports to: Sr. Manager, PEAK RSL

The Sr. Analyst, Continuous Improvement (PEAK) will be responsible for driving continuous improvement projects focused on promoting network-wide capability development of PEAK systems, digital transformation of process and tools, and organizing large-scale events. Methods for achieving and sustaining improvements will be based on Newell PEAK principles including Six Sigma, TPM and LEAN. This role will also assist in facilitation of the CI strategy and capability development in Manufacturing and Distribution sites to support business imperatives through the effective deployment of the Results, and Skills Leadership (RSL) Processes, Applications, Capabilities, and Systems (PACS). The Sr. Analyst, Continuous Improvement (PEAK) will need to collaborate closely with the Central PEAK RSL team on improvement methodology, deployment strategy, and execution.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Support the development of processes and tools that promote network-wide capability development of PEAK Systems

· Support the development of processes and tools that leverage technology (including Artificial Intelligence) and optimize ways of working for the Central and site PEAK teams

· Contribute to PEAK Master Plan projects while managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders through effective project management skills

· Deliver coaching, training, analysis, and project leadership for Results & Skills Leadership (RSL), including: KPI Alignment, Cascading Review, Master Planning, Visual Management, Coaching, Change Management, Training & Skills Development, One Point Lessons & Owned Improvements, Cascading Communication, and Rewards & Recognition

· Assist in the Development of all material for the RSL PACS, including training material, templates, scorecards, tools

· Co-facilitate meetings, events, and training workshops to solve urgent business needs, while building the capability of the key internal resources needed to deliver on critical initiatives

· Support Site, Regional, and Corporate Master Plan development and execution

· Assist in the organization and facilitation of large-scale Central PEAK team workshops, summits, and events

Key Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be technically competent within a supply chain vertical with a willingness to being hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution while working on projects of strategic importance.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent degree

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing / warehouse role or in a Central Supply Chain type role with project experience

  • Working experience with Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma preferred)

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications

  • Preferred experience working with SharePoint and data visualization tools like Power BI

  • Practical experience in data management and analytics (including leveraging Artificial Intelligence)

  • Interpersonal skills, self-confidence, leadership abilities
