AT&T Software Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

Cricket Wireless is seeking an experience frontend developer to join our digital delivery organization with a focus on working on our product configuration experience on www.cricketwireless.com. The successful candidate will conduct software development as part of an agile scrum team using: HTML5/CSS3/JS ES5 ES6, responsive web development and calling REST APIs with AJAX calls.

As the successful candidate, you will work on a cross functional scrum team focused on developing and testing solutions to user stories on the backlog. You be asked to collaborate to gather and review user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with other engineers/architects to assess and test software interactions. You will need to have experience helping product owners identify a vertically sliced story/feature and experience with tasking stories.

You will be asked to create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers/architects, clients, etc. to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. In addition to Unit Test, responsibilities may include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing. You will support the application in production and solve configuration and environment issues.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop solutions based on backlog

  • Evaluate correctness of solutions through manual testing and automated testing

  • Collaborate on the refinement of stories into vertical slices.

  • Participate in estimation and taking process on stories.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to develop mobile applications for Android in java and iOS in Swift.

  • Knowledge of scrum.

  • Ability to understand and integration third party libraries

  • 3 - 5 years of experience developing web applications

  • 1 - 2 years working on a scrum team

  • 1 - 2 years developing web applications which are consumer facing and must support accessibility standards

  • 2 - 4 years’ experience with the following technology:

  • Object Oriented Programming

  • Accessible web development (page speed load time, semantic HTML)

  • Webpack

  • Web templating language experience (Handlebars/Mustache preferred)

  • DOM API (accessing and manipulating the DOM using vanilla JS and jQuery)

  • Understanding of server-side rendering concepts

  • Angular framework experience

  • Bootstrap CSS framework

  • NightwatchJS / Mocha / Jasmine for automated integration tests

  • Git

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math preferred

  • Experience with Babel, TypeScript, NodeJS and Google tagging and analytics is a plus
