Peachford Hospital is searching for an experienced Master’s prepared leader for our Weekend Clinical Coordinator position to work full-time in our Social Services Department. Must be willing and able to work across all populations (children & adolescents, teens, adult men and women, geriatrics and stabilization) with patients from ages 4 and up.

    The Weekend Clinical Coordinator is part of the Social Services Leadership Team and is part of an interdisciplinary treatment team charged with providing quality therapeutic and case management services to our patients from admissions to discharge. Case Managers are empowered to assess their patient’s needs using their own personal style, while delivering superior quality care.     What Will You Get To Do? The Weekend Clinical Coordinator is responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:

  • Assist Director of Social Services in the supervision of weekend Social Services staff to include prioritizing and delegating clinical tasks among staff members, evaluating performance and providing training to staff members as indicated.

  • Perform personnel management duties as necessary including providing department orientation and training, completing performance evaluations and providing feedback to Director of Social Services.

  • Coordinate weekend supervision of Social Services interns.

  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of weekend clinical programming, providing feedback to Director and Peachford Hospital’s management team.

  • Conduct regular evaluations of documentation and other indicators of performance and compliance of clinical staff through use of observation and various audit tools.

  • Monitor and maintain appropriate staffing levels within the department according to FTE guidelines.

  • Coordinate Utilization Review function as needed on Saturday and Sunday, maintaining active communication with physicians and nursing staff regarding discharge or coverage issues.

    What Does Peachford Require for this Role? A license eligible master’s degree in a related clinical area is required and previous inpatient/outpatient hospital experience is preferred. Previous leadership experience is required. Licensure is preferrred.
