HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Carter’s, Inc is seeking a baby-clothes-obsessed content creator to take on our channels, primarily Instagram and TikTok, as creator and channel lead. You’ll collaborate with our creative, merchandising, art/design and marketing teams to develop trending content that resonates with our community of parents on TikTok.

The ideal candidate for this role must have a content creation skillset, be passionate about TikTok and have their finger on the pulse of culture and social trends. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Social Media and Brand Engagement.

This role typical reports into the Sr Manager, Social Media & Brand Engagement, and is based in our Buckhead office on site 4 days a week.

70%: Social Content Production

  • Create compelling, emotionally resonant daily/weekly visual content across social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook, aligned with master brand ID and channel content strategies

  • Leverage insight tools, media monitoring and social community platforms to uncover emerging channel trends and parenting insights to inform weekly content creation

  • Assists the organic social creative lead with monthly content strategy and content development from ideation to go-live date for Carter’s brand on TikTok, with support for Reels and other channel syndication included

  • Assist in-house creative teams with flat lays, product photography and "behind the scenes" visual content, leveraging existing retail and product photoshoots and studio resources to nimbly create social-first content

  • Manage Pinterest content creation and execution

30%: Community Management and Influencer Support

  • Serve as lead of community management across Instagram and TikTok, engaging with customers, influencer partners, content creators, viral content and brands

  • Assist with Surprise and Delight program by identifying recipients, conduct outreach and ship product

  • Assist Sr. Manager with brand influencer program on an as needed basis

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

Must have:

  • Great project management skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners, strong collaborator

  • Interest or previous experience working in a high energy, fast-paced environment

  • 1-2 years’ progressive marketing experience with brand or agencies, or equivalent experience as independent content creator

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Culturally dialed-in social native - lives and breathes Internet Culture

  • Proven experience with designing and executing social media content

  • Highly prefer BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Hands-on team player fluent in the fundamentals of branding

  • Copywriting skills a plus!
