MacStadium Senior Software Engineer – Automation & Integration in Atlanta, Georgia

What we need:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Admin & Portal team. The Senior Software Engineer, reporting to the VP of Engineering, will be responsible for researching, documenting, implementing, and supporting a variety of integrations into our core business platform.
In this role, you will work closely with a remote-first team to build and support integration functionality related to billing, customer management, authentication, and other key business processes.
This position is a part of our Software Development team, reporting to the VP – Engineering; Atlanta, GA location and Eastern Time zone is preferred.
MacStadium's current U.S. office locations are in Atlanta, GA and Las Vegas, NV. While it is ideal to have this position located in close proximity to one of our offices, we are open to filling the role remotely outside of the states of Georgia and Nevada (within the United States) for the right candidate.
What you will be doing:
NodeJS
Key libraries include Objection, Zod, GraphQL, and ExpressJS
Relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres (we use MySQL)
Experience architecting and implementing GraphQL APIs
Experience supporting any of the following integrations:
Salesforce (using Apex is a plus) for CRM capabilities
Zendesk for support ticket management
Jira for internal process management
Chargebee for billing
Netsuite for inventory management
AWS Cognito for SSO integration
Experience building applications for AWS and integrating with cloud-native services
ReactJS experience is a nice-to-have for UI development
Experience with PHP and CakePHP are a nice-to-have for supporting our legacy back office system
Experience with Python and Django are a nice-to-have for future services
What skills and experience you need to have:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar preferred
5 years of experience and at least 3 5 years of professional experience with the technical skills noted
Experience consuming and building APIs using schema-first solutions such as GraphQL, Swagger, OpenAPI, or gRPC

For California, Colorado, and Illinois applicants, the compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000.
