Insight Global Senior Quality Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

Summary:

Insight Global is looking for a Sr Quality Engineer that specializes in Web automation and Manual Testing to join Software Engineering & Integration organization. As a Sr Quality Engineer, you will support the application development team by effectively analyzing business requirements, documenting manual and automated test scripts for API Integrated Testing, executing automated and manual test cases, identifying and communicating defects, perform database validation, verifying mapping documents between source and target applications, collaborating with the Customers, Product Owner, and Developers when appropriate to resolve issues and offer suggestions for process improvement. We will look to you to complete all QE activities, accept personal accountability for tasks assigned to you, provide timely updates to the Customers and IT professionals and assure quality of the applications and or systems.

Responsibilities:

 Work with the Product owner to establish acceptance criteria from user stories and requirements

 Design, build and execute manual/automated test scripts for API and Web applications based on business requirements and technical specifications

 Create and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools for Playwright, Postman, Newman utilizing Java Script

 Create and execute manual test plans, test cases utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO)

 Leveraging automation best practices and coding standards to deliver high quality products

 Develop Smoke, Function, Regression, and System level integration Test Suites for API and Web Services

 Report key metrics and status on all phases of manual and test automation

 Ensure automated test cases are continually added to the CICD folders and triggered automatically to increase automation efficiency

 Complete all aspects of QA testing (Automated & Manual) including Smoke, Functional, Regression, API Integrated, Exploratory, Data and Mapping verification

 Identify, track, and manage defects and communicate status to project team

 Be accountable for meeting automation goals and objectives for the organization and timely escalations if any risks arise

 Ensure the customers expectations are met during the testing process

 Provide Sprint demo for completed features and enhancements

This position is NOT remote and will require you to go into the office in Downtown Atlanta 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday).

We are looking for someone who can start/interview asap! The client is requiring a start date of 12/09.

Pay Rate: $50-$65/hr. determined by the hiring team during the interview process.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of Manual Testing including analyzing requirements, documenting and executing Test Cases, reporting and tracking defects, providing QA demos to IT Project Team

 7+ years of experience in API and Web automated software testing utilizing various automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, QTest, Postman, Newman, etc

 5+ years of experience in API and Web automated software testing utilizing Playwright, Postman, Newman with Java Script

 5+ years of experience in utilizing various test automation scripting languages (Java Script, Python, Ruby, etc)

 Experience in automating build and deployment processes in CICD pipeline

 Experience working in Agile environment

 Experience documenting and executing manual Test Cases utilizing AzureDevOps or similar tools

 Experience performing manual API Integrated Testing utilizing Postman or similar tools

 Effective verbal and written communication skills

 Strong customer focus, conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability

 Ability to manage multiple tasks and, be flexible and willing to accept changes in priorities

 Ability to work both in a team environment and independently

 Fast leaner and takes initiative to learn null
