Responsible for analyzing wholesale insurance business processes to develop verifiable and reportable information regarding trends, operational results, strategic initiatives and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for analyzing wholesale insurance data and financial results using large datasets.

  2. Prepares and delivers various internal, sales and production and productivity reports on a regular basis, providing meaningful insight for internal stakeholders.

  3. Monitor operational results and recommends ways to increase effectiveness.

  4. Access and digest wholesale insurance production data to identify trends and report results.

  5. Involved in hands on work on special projects for leadership as they arise.

  6. Engage with IT teams do help develop business reports utilizing PowerBI and enhance current dashboards for use by leadership and sales teams.

  7. Assist in business development initiative conceptualization and tracking.

  8. Improve current work flow processes to create automation and efficiencies.

  9. Assist the business leaders with strategic planning, budget cycle, and other initiatives specific to the business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills

  2. Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

  3. Effective time management skills

  4. Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously

  5. Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment

  6. Ability to work in a self-directed fashion

  7. Experience in effective dashboard and report designing

  8. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products

  9. Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions

  10. Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

Advanced working knowledge of Excel with proven experience

Advanced analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with PowerBI a plus but not required

  2. Insurance experience a plus, wholesale insurance even more so, but neither required

  3. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
