Google Program Manager II, Packaging Inventory, Technical Infrastructure in Atlanta, Georgia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience with Supply Chain, inventory management, and ERP systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in leading inventory management programs and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of sourcing packaging materials, pulp packaging, rigid packaging and working with international supply base partners.

  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

As a Packaging Inventory Management Program Manager, you will orchestrate the seamless flow of materials and products throughout our supply chain by streamlining processes, enhancing visibility, and driving efficiency in inventory management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, from planning and production to logistics, ensuring our inventory levels are optimized to meet demand while minimizing costs and waste.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Analyze existing inventory management processes, identify bottlenecks, and design innovative solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement robust inventory control strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize obsolescence, and prevent stock-outs.

  • Leverage SAP data analytics to gain insights into inventory trends, demand patterns, and performance metrics. Use these insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams at the supplier level to ensure seamless alignment between production schedules and packaging material availability, and support new product introductions by providing expertise on packaging inventory requirements and lead times.

  • Develop capacity planning strategies for warehouses to ensure adequate storage space for packaging materials and finished goods, and monitor inventory levels, identify potential capacity constraints, and proactively address them to avoid disruptions.
